is taking pictures and doing photography the same ? is a digital camera a computer or is it a photo camera ? or is it both ? and what is my iphone then ? does the tool matter or does it not ?
linguistics had to deal with pictures too as people started to communicate with pictures (again?) on all these apps. so do we need text theory to understand a picture ? or was the picture actually before the text ? are the analog and the digital different languages then, such as french and german ?
